Hi,
I am applying for an Unmarried Partner Visa and I would like to double check something.
I am a sole-trader and I do not have an accountant (as my business is very small and I do my own accounts and submit my self-assessment). According to FM1.7:
I need to provide the below:
(bb) If the applicant's business is not required to produce annual audited accounts, the latest unaudited accounts and an accountant's certificate of confirmation, from an accountant who is a member of a UK Recognised Supervisory Body (as defined in the Companies Act 2006);
I have taken my accounts (From 2012-2013) to an accountant , He has asked what does need to be included in the accountant certificate of confirmation? Also, about providing the latest unaudited accounts, does the accountant do that? or I can just submit my own accounts.
I just want to make sure I'll give him the correct answer, if you have done this in the past please help!
Thanks once again.
Eddy
