Hi everyone,

I am currently on the youth mobility visa for two years and I am going to be applying for FLR(M) Unmarried partner visa in November. I was hoping someone could take a look at the official documents we have had mailed to us whilst we were saying at a relatives house for the first 8 months of my two year visa and let me know which ones would be best to include for proof of living together.

After those 8 months we have been living in our own rented flat so we have joint council tax, and several bills and other documents mailed to us like bank statements etc. It's just the time we stayed with relatives that I want to double check.

Time needing to be covered is November 30th, 2015 to July 22nd, 2016.

Documents my partner/sponsor has:
A letter dated Nov 10, 2015 from HMRC for national insurance number.
A letter dated Nov 25, 2015 from HMRC again to do with national insurance number.
P45 but from email and printed (January 2016)
Letters from car insurance company dated May 6, 2016.
Letter from work union at his new job dated July 2016.
He can also get bank statements printed at his bank (and stamped).

What I / applicant have for November 30th to July 22, 2016:

A letter dated Dec 18, 2015 from UK Government Department for Work & Pensions instructing me how to apply for an NI number.
A letter dated January 19th, 2016 from Department for Work & Pensions allocating me a National Insurance Number (NINO Allocation Letter).
A letter dated June 16th, 2016 from my bank to set up internet banking. I only opened a bank account in June 2016 as this was when I started seriously looking for a job.
A letter from our local district council dated July 5th, 2016 stating that my recent application to be added to the electoral register was successful.

I believe for FLR(M) you need 6 peices of joint documents or 6 each (12) of individually addressed documents to the same address spread evenly over the last two years. Which documents should we use if we submitted two each for those 8 months?

Thank you kindly!

Hi I am curresntly trying to figure out how to apply having lived with my mum for the first year of my husband being in the UK, did it go ok for you. My main question is did they need a property inspection? Thanks and really hope you got the visa OK!

Sorry I don't know. For the unmarried partners visa I don't believe you need to show a property inspection, I think that is required for spousal visas for your correct accomodation? Hopefully somebody else can help you.
