I'm putting together letters and documents required to prove living together for FLR-M.

Please check and let me know if I should add any more or remove any:

NHS letter - Dated 01-12-15

2016

Virgin Media bill - Dated 28/01/16
Poll card - Dated 05/05/16
Poll card - Dated 23/06/16
NHS letter - Dated 07-07-16
Bank statement - Dated 12-12-16

2017

Virgin Media bill - Dated 27/01/17
Poll card - Dated 08/06/17
Will add bank statement before applying

JOINT NAMES:

Water bill 2015
Water bill 2016
Water bill 2017

HM Revenue & Customs - Child tax credits annual review letter 2016
HM Revenue & Customs - Child tax credits annual review letter 2017

Applying for FLR in by end of August this year.

I will post a list of the Applicant's documents soon as I've got them sorted.

With all the yearly joint name documents listed how many individual letters can I use?

Thanks.

That's too many documents for just yourself, you only need six for each person spread evenly throughout the period of your first spouse visa (fewer, if you're supplying jointly-addressed documents as well).

Virgin media bill is OK as it's a physical service being used at your address (TV/phone/broadband)

So like 2 for 2015 2 for 2016 and 2 for 2017 ? Every 6 months or so.

Do we need at least 3 different sources of letter for each year? or over all?

How should I spread the letters if the joint letters are yearly?

More like one document every 4-5 months. "3 different sources" refers to all of the documents total, not per year. Just spread it out as evenly as possible. 6 documents jointly, or substitute for one each. You shouldn't need more than twelve documents total (though you can submit a few more if it would make you feel better). It just needs to show that you've both been living together in the same place for the full time

I've redone the list as follows, spread 5 months apart:

2015 - applicant arrived in March 2015, these are my (the sponsor) letters

Barclays statement: 10-04-15
Virgin Media bill: 27-08-15

2016

Virgin Media bill: 28-01-16
Barclays statement: 10-06-16
NHS letter: 09-11-16

2017

Virgin Media bill: 28-04-17
I'll add a letter before applying in August.

JOINT NAMES:

Water bill 2015 2016 2017

Won't be including Joint named Child tax annual review letters.

How does the list look now?

Thanks.

Can someone check through the list above and let me know if it's fine or needs changing?

Good, I assume the applicant has their own letters to add? If your partner has a similar list to this one you'd be fine

You can still add the child tax review letters, you can go over the required amount by a little, just don't need to overdo it is all

Here's a list of the applicant's letters:

2015

NHS letter - 15-04-15
Bank statement - 28-08-15

2016

Bank statement - 29-01-16
Postal Poll card - June 2016 - added this because not sure if barclaycard statement is a strong source.
Barclaycard - 06-06-16
Bank statement - 30-11-16

2017

Bank statement - 29-04-17 - I have a Thames Water letter - shall I replace the statement with this to add an extra source of letter?
Will add one more nearer to application submission.

JOINT NAMES:

Water bill 2015, 2016, 2017 - These are addressed to my wife and my name appears under Additional account holder.

I might just add the child tax letters as well, may not though, because I think we have enough letters already + we'll have to go through all the letters again and might not have letters for the right months.

Please check thanks.

Also, can we start filling in the FLR M application form online, even though we won't be submitting it until August? I mean will it remain saved?

I'm not 100% sure, but saved application may be deleted automatically after a month or two.

Ok thanks. Can you also check through my cohabitation letters above please.

The gov website says......

"Partner (2-year and 5-year routes)
You can apply either:

online
by post or in person - fill in form FLR(M)
"

Does this mean if applying in person, we need to fill in the paper form? Or a completed and printed online form is fine as well?
