Hi,

We are applying for Spouse visa under Category A, 6 months.

My husband has been employed by his current employer for 6 months. The p60 will show only 5 months because the tax year ends in 1st of April. Will this be a problem?

He has had 3 jobs in the past 12 months. So three p60s should be coming in the post. Do we only need to show the p60 from the current employer?

Really appreciate your help...

Should receive ONE P60, the previous employers would produce a P45 which gives income detail for the current Tax year, and these should have been sent to the next employer who records it on the P60.
By now another full month's pay advice ( new tax year) can be used to make up the 6 months needed for current employer.

You show it through your payslip and bank statement. UKVI know that P60 only covers up to 5th April 2015 so won't give the complete financial picture you are submitting.

Hi,
just another complication with the preparing documentation.

The employer haven't processed P60 yet, they will be sending it out for another 2-3 weeks, they willing to send us statement of earnings. Would that be sufficient instead of P60?

probably not, but still might worth asking here

An Employer is Legally required to provide the P60 before the 31st May following the Tax Year Ending 5 th April.

Hey, I'm not an expert here but have just been reading through the FM appendix. it states:

in addition to the evidence listed above, paragraph 2A of Appendix FM-SE specifies that P60(s) for the relevant period(s) of employment (if issued) and a signed contract(s) of employment may also be submitted in respect of paid employment in the UK. If they are not submitted, the decision-maker may grant the application if otherwise satisfied that the requirements of Appendix FM-SE relating to that employment are met, or they may ask for the documents to be submitted in accordance with paragraph D of the Appendix.

Unless the person is listed as the director of a company, where FM-SE states a p60 along with other requirements MUST be provided.

It sounds like the p60 is an additional item for most, but I would guess its better to include it if possible. Again, Im not an expert. hope that helps somewhat

so P60 is must have? statement of earnings won't be counted?
Your husband has had 3 different jobs during the last year, his current employer can only give a statement of earnings for the time he has been in with the current employer.
The P60 is a legal document and will contain all of income during the last Tax year ending 5th April;. It will show income for the 2 previous jobs earned from 6th April 2014.
