apologies if this is a silly question but is a spouse visa more difficult to get compared to a fiance visa?

my fiancee and i were planning to get a fiance visa then apply for FLR(M) but we changed our minds and we're planning to get married in singapore instead, then apply for a spouse visa.

also, can you apply for a spouse visa immediately after you get married? or do we have to wait a period?

thank you!

Neither is more difficult than the other, I don't think... The requirements are the same. The fiance visa just gives you the ability to marry in the UK if that's your plan. You can apply for a spouse visa as long as you are legally married, there's no waiting period. We applied two weeks after we got married :)

Also you save one lot of visa fees by marrying outside UK, and as soon as she gets to UK, she can start work, after picking up her biometric residence permit from post office.
