Hi all,

I am hoping to apply for my fianceé's visa application in October this year and desperately need some clarification. She is a Canadian citizen and wishes to leap and live in the UK with me. My questions are:

1. What needs to be mentioned in the introduction letters?

2. Do I need my wageslips to be printed on a company letterhead or is a raw submission (just with the company name typed on it) enough?

3. I met my finaceé online 2 years ago and have been to visit her once. I have photographic evidence of our meeting as well as whatsapp messages and a phone log. What else do I need to prove the authenticity of my relationship?

I would highly appreciate it if somebody could clear the fog for me!

Thanks

1. Introduction letters should be a factual representation of your relationship. Explaining key events and chronologically numbering stages of your relationship and plans for the future (wedding in your case). Not too mushy or emotional but giving the ECO a general idea of who you are as a couple and how and when you met, so on and so forth. Search the forum for sample letters that others have done

2. Wage slips need to be originals. Mailed to your home by work. If they are not sent in this way but are printed from an online portal or e mailed to you, you need a letter from HR/ your manager, on company letter head, dated and stamped, specifying the authenticity of the payslips.

3. You need to show evidence of having kept in touch regularly. E mails , whatsapp messages, phone logs, Skype logs, tickets to see each other etc are all ways to do this.

all the best.
Thank you so much Kimi2490. You just saved me £3,000
