Hello, me again. I was wondering if anyone had any idea of the fiancé visa.
The questions I need answering are as follows.

If we get a finance visa at around £950 donee then have to pay £1500 to convert it to a spousal visa.

Is the fiancé visa looked at and processed differently to the spousal visa

Do we have to pay the health surcharge on both visas.

Also last year my fiancé was rejected for a visitors visa due to his financial situation but this has now greatly improved. Do you think this will have an effect on the fiancé visa?

Do I mention to UKBA that we want an English wedding as this will allow us to control the crowd and the cost?

Different charges are just that. No real logic to them as they are both settlement visas. Yo uonly pay IHS of £500 when you switch to leave to remain.
They are separate applications but previous immigration history will be looked at.
You can put in your covering letters why you want to marry in UK and settle afterwards.
