Hi everybody. I'm 17 and I live in France with my family.
This summer we want to go to England for 2 weeks . As we need visa, my father applied for a visa for him, for me, for my little sister and my two little brothers. Indeed, did we have to ask for the visa separately ? We didn't apply for a visa for my mother and my big sister -who is on age , because in the application of child under the age of 18, there is written something like" the second person who accompany the child is allowed to go to england with or without the child". So my question is: do my mum and my sister have to make an application or not ? Because my father added them to my brothers' applications. I don't know if in the application it's about person who are the nationality or not , =/
Please, could you help me ?

What is your nationality and the nationalities of your other family members?

If you and your family have any EU nationality, you don't need visas to travel to the UK. If your family members are applying for visas, you probably have non-EU nationalities.

We are Afghan , we haven't got any EU nationality =/ We have a residence permit for 10 years, so yes we must have visa ...
Do you know if all the family members have to apply ?

Yes, everyone. Since minor children can usually be attached to a parent's application, your mother should make a separate application for herself, adding your sister if she is under 18, and a separate application if she is over 18.

In my father's application he wrote names of his children and his spouse. But we made application for children who are minor too é_è
If it's correct, it means that we wasted 95 euros for each person (7 here) whereas we had just to pay for 3 people... ? Oh myy
