Failed NAATI CCL: Should I submit for a review?

Hi all,

I've just received my NAATI CCL results and was devastated as I was quite confident that I would pass. I've taken time off from work just to study and practice (I've already, like, tried my best).

I've got 58.5/90, and the comments they provided did not make sense to me.

D - excessive requests for repetition: I've only requested at most once for each question (and those are free repeats which I'm purposely leveraging them for). I've never requested a repeat more than once.
Q - excessive self-correction: I clearly remember that I've self-corrected only once in the entire test.
H - grammatical errors in English: I don't have a good vocabulary, but I've always been pretty confident with my grammar.
I could understand the other F, K comments because I didn't really try to make my sentences pretty, I only wanted to get the translations through concisely and correctly.

I would want to try submitting for a review, but I'm hesitating because I'm not sure if I could make it since they have specified the following:
This involves the test being marked again and the new mark averaged with the original to determine the final result.
We need 63/90 to pass and that meant I'd need to have at least a 67.5 on the new marks to pass.

What do you all think? Is it possible for me to pass after a review?
I would definitely not retake the exam though, I've spent too much time and money on this exam...

I know this might be a bit old. Can I ask if there are any updates to this? Did you get a review?

I didn’t, because they explained to me the reasons (after emailing them):
1. I thought I could repeat once every question, but actually I am allowed to repeat only one question per segment (we have only 2 segments in the exam).
2. Because I’ve repeated too many times per segment, I went overtime, so they don’t count answers that went over the time.

Which made sense to me, though I wished they had stated it clearer that we can only repeat once per segment (not per question) because I initially thought ”segment“ meant a segment of a sentence… but yeah lesson learnt. I’m not sure if I’ll retake it, though.
