Dear All,

I have a bachelors degree in computer science and a masters degree in multimedia arts and about 10 years of work experience.

I haven't yet started the application process. Can someone guide me whether there is a chance for graphic/multimedia design professionals to immigrate to Canada through express entry if you possess good design/art skills.

There isn't exactly a shortage of people in Canada who work in that field, and most will have Canadian education and experience (your education isn't likely to be considered equivalent to a Canadian education).

You are right, I thought so too. One thing that confuses me is that design/art jobs are based more on a portfolio than on educational credentials. Don't know if this is the case in Canada or not. Any thoughts on it?

That is true, but education will still factor into the equation.
