Hi,
Greetings!!!

I have one query regarding the transfer of H1b visa. Let me go through my case first, My h1b got stamped in 2008 and got expired in March 2010. I travelled in US on H1 visa in march 2008 and there I worked for my employer from April ’08 – Aug ’08.
I returned back to India in August 2008 after completion of my project and I have also got the pay stubs and then never returned back to US.
Now here my query is that since my h1 b visa is expired now so can I transfer this visa to another employer in India. I have heard that my case be renewed on the basis of my petition and my case is cap exempt. Am I correct? If yes then what is the process and what are the documents required to transfer the case? Please suggest.
Thanks in advance for help and advice.
Hitesh

Your H1B has expired. You need to get a new employer to sponsor you to obtain a new visa to work in the US.

You have nothing to transfer to a new employer.
