Yes I am the same, apart from it said it had been forwarded to the London branch.
I assume they are checking all that we have claimed points for, and once that happens the selected changes to successful and we get an ITA.

GOT NZQA Assessment

Dear All

I have done Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electronics in 2002 and Started job in Telecom Field
In started engineering in 2005 and completed in 2009 B.Sc Electrical Engineering in Electronics.

My work experience is from 2002 to till date which is above 10 year.

Now i have NZQA Assessment of both qualification

DAE = national Certificate Level-4

B.Sc Engineering = level 7

my age is 31 year.

I just want to know can i show my experience 10 year in EOI to get point because my total experience belong to telecommunication which is skill experience.

and can i claim my qualification bonus point in LTSSL.
NZQA show a note in assessment that if you want to claim bonus point regiter with IPENZ Engineers New Zealand.

According to my point i calculate

age = 25 points
work experience 10 year = 30 points
experience absolute shortage list = 15 points
level 7 points = 50
if i claim bonus point for qualification it will be = 10

total is 130 point how i can get bonus point for qualification and also tell me about my experience ?

You can only claim for one qualification. Usually this will be the qualification that will award the most points.
In your case this will be the B.Sc from 2009 which you have had assessed.
I'd you are claiming points for an occupation off the LTSSL you must meet the exact requirements stated for that occupation (I assume in your case the stated qualification will be B.Sc Elec Eng & Electronics).
You can only claim experience years post qualification irrespective that you may have worked in that occupation longer than this so in your case 4 years as opposed to over 10 years.

If you were only claiming points for the Level 4 Diploma and not the B.Sc then you could claim the full 10 + years experience, BUT in this scenario you wouldn't be eligible to claim for an occupation off the the LTSSL as this qualification level will not meet the specific requirements for that qualification.

As states you will also have to show you have registered with IPENZ or your qualification points cannot be claimed.

You have very little to no chance of being selected with 120 points.

Dear Sir Can i get job offer ? How tell me ? Tell me web site that will give me jobs offer Thanks
There are no easy ways to get a job offer and there are no sites with jobs waiting for overseas candidates so they can simply hand them out.
The majority of NZ employers want a candidate to be already in the country and available for personal interview, however it all depends in your skills and how urgent your skills are required in NZ.

The best sites to look for vacancies are :-

www.seek.co.nz
www.trademe.co.nz
nz.indeed.com

Securing a job in NZ whilst still overseas is difficult. You have to make yourself stand out and you have to educate employers that even though you don't have a valid visa to work in NZ.....yet, having the job offer will allow you to get the all important visa.
You can also offer that you will apply for a temporary working visa on receipt of a job offer to allow you to come and work in that job quickly whilst still having your Residency visa application ticking along in the background.

Job offers come from lots of research, hard work, determination and not taking no for an answer.
You may want to consider signing up with a recruitment agency. One who specialises in your field of expertise. Do not pay them.
If they are asking for money off you they aren't legitimate.
It is free to sign up with a genuine recruitment agency. They earn money from the NZ employers they work for.

Regards,

Over Qualified

Seems i am over qualified for the points.

1. BSc in Matehmatics in 1995
2. MCA (Master in Computer Application) 1998
3. Started Working in ICT in India and later in Singapore . More than 13 years exp.
4. MTech (Master of Technology in Software Engineering) from NUS in 2008

Since my Bachelor is in Mathematics, i didn't gain any points.
My First Master degree (MCA) is not considered and gained 0 points.
No points for work experience gained since 1998 (MCA)
My Second Masters degree (MTECH) is downgraded to (Level 7) with 50 points
Work experience considered only since i completed MTECH in 2008
MY EOI points reduced to just 105.

Seems no logic.

That's hard to take in , sorry.
Well, your BA and first Msc don't matter since u get points for highest degree I think. Your work experience must be in a comparable market, there was a list of countries of these. our Eoi only counted the two years work exp in the UK and didnt count the rest if the 8+ years. But our degree was in absolute shortage list.

Hopefully someone else will give u more to work with.

Once your eoi claimed points have been evaluated hopeful you'll see 'decision success' in the status then shortly you'll receive ITA. So far your within average process time since oct 16, it can take a good month, so hopefully you'll hear from them this week.

Good luck!

If you have BTech (Bachelors degree) in the same area as work experience you are safe. Higher degree is a disqualification in Absolute Skill.

Hi,

I received a letter from NZ immigration office saying that my EOI validation is sent to Mumbai, India office. Whats next? No changes in the application, it still remains as 'selected'.
How long will this verification takes? Any body else?

Hi Simply me,

Any idea how long it takes for the EOI points evaluation ? And how I will be contacted during this evaluation? Call or Email?

Thanks.

Hmmm.. So far since the selection on oct 16, you're still within a common waiting time. It typically takes ten working days to receive your EOI decision , but a month is also not uncommon. I heard Mumbai is a busy busy branch.

Did you apply online? If so , your submitted EOI will change from ' submitted 'to '..Success..' upon satisfied preliminaries.

I received an email for ITA. In fact before the ITA I received an email from an INZ officer for further clarification on the employment qualification I claimed , after I sent it I got ITA next day.

So hopefully you'll hv your ITA by no longer than Nov 15, also keep in mind the local holidays in Mumbai.

Best of Luck!

Hi,

I received the letter yesterday and it is mentioned that it is forwarded to Mumbai office for preliminary checks, post which I think I will receive ITA.
How about you ? Did you get one?

Thanks
