Hi everyone, flight is booked and we are just waiting for the OH to get here.

When he comes through immigration will his passport be date stamped on the date of arrival?

As a USA citizen he goes through the rest of the world channel and not eea/switzerland?

Sorry if I'm asking the obvious, been a long day

Next time, if you are travelling together, you can both go through UK/EU line together (provided he collects his BRP in the meantime). If asked, just tell the person manning the line that you are part of the same family.

We always go through the UK line with my wife's visitors visa. Occasionally someone will grumble but we just offer to go to the other line. They never take us up on the offer.

I’ve had some friendly ones though
I'm yet to encounter anyone that's been friendly when you're at passport control.
