Hi. A brief background, my husband is British I'm from SA. We got married 6 years ago whilst I was on HSMP visa. But we lived abroad for this 6 years. I'm currently visiting UK and planning to apply for spouse visa next year. My question is am I breaking the rules of my visit visa if I was the do the english language test in UK whilst on this visit visa? Will it jeapadise my future spouse visa application? I've heard conflicting advice from immigration lawyers. Trying to save time by getting the English test over and done with now rather than doing it when I leave the Uk. Thanks in advance

Nothing to stop you doing an English test to meet the immigration requirement.
