My daughter's boss in Australia is going to sponser her on the ENS 856 visa, does that mean she has to stay with him for 3 years before she becomes a permanent resident, and how long does she have to wait till she can sponser another family member to live in Ausse

Hi:

1. No your daughter has no legal requirement by Immi to stay with him for (3) yrs, normally (1) year is written into the employment contract otherwise she would pay back the costs of the sponsorship back to the employer.
2. Normally (2) yrs after PR she can sponsor, however if she already has substantial ties to AU (i.e. house, car, bank accounts) then that can count as part of the (2) yr period too.
