Hello all,
Kindly refer the guidelines from ACS to claim MODL assessment
ACS (Australian Computer Society) - Membership, Professionalism and Leadership for ICT Professionals and the ICT Community

The Employer Referance requires
1. The reason/s why you are submitting a Statutory Declaration; and
2. All the necessary detail about your employment experience.
3. Organisation chart showing your and the referral's position.

I am confused with point no 2.
A brief overview of project in few lines along with the major responsibilities shouldered will suffice??????? :confused2:

Also, the statement below is highlighted
Important: If you provide a Statutory Declaration with your application, you must also provide some form of corroborative information from a third party for the claims made in the Statutory Declaration.

Here third party is the person giving referance???? m a bit confused :confused2:

Another thing, Does the witness for SD has to be the person giving referance???

It would prove to be of immense help to all , if someone just undergone a '+ve skill assessment for MODL' could post a generic format of SD and the Employer Referance letter.:)

Thanks.

Gaurav,

Statutory Declaration is your own declaration stating your employment and experiences.. however, your manager will not sign on your Statutory Declaration.. It's just you in presence of notary signing your declaration.

with your Statutory Declaration, you will need to furnish proof.

However, if you have employer reference, you may not need Statutory Declaration at all.

I did not submit any other docs other than educational certs and experience letters you get from HR after leaving job. I couldn't get the documents notorized even .... ACS had no issues with it.

Good luck and it's time for you to get mooving
point two is detailed description of what you do. Rather a summary of your roles and responsibilities.

When you give a stat dec, it is basically given incase you are unable to provide any required documents. one cant just give stat dec for everything and expect them to believe your roles as mentioned are true and not made up by you. you need to provide supportive documents like confirmation letter, certificates, appointment letter, anything and everything that supports your CV.

Hope this clears your doubt.
Thanks Anjali,Randhir
I can get reference from my manager on A4 paper (no letter head) in this case Shall I require SD?
Also ideally how long the description in SD should be?

For Employer reference
I have mentioned 4 projects then my roles, tools used, time period, team size and duration for each of them.
It has covered almost 2 pages.....is it sufficient???

Thanks

yeah you need SD if you are not able to manage the employer reference. I cant say if 2 page is too much or too little.. It depends on how you have written it. Even if its tabular (tabular is always better). As long as it covers everything, why worry?
gaurav,

also u vl be attaching your resume which tells more about ur exp and work...
