Hello,

My husband was granted an EEA FP. When we went through the passport control the woman said: 'onwards and upwards'! It was the opposite of what we were expecting! After all that fuss to get in we were only in London overnight before coming to Canada for a few months. Now we are about to return (within the 6 months of the visa).

My question is: saying our EEA2 application is successful (which can take up to 6 months if I'm right?) what will be our requirement for the next five years? I know we don't have to earn a certain amount, it's more to do with the amount of travel we can do, as we move around a lot. Is there a certain number of months we have to be in the UK for the whole thing to be valid. I am not so much concerned about what happens after five years, more that we may have prove every year that we've been in the country.

Thanks!
