Hello everyone,

We received the following mail on the 7th of April.

"I am happy to inform you that the decision to refuse your visa application has been overturned. We now require your passport to finalize the procedure, so please send it either directly to our office in Warsaw together with a copy of your husband’s passport and marriage certificate."

Our passport was received by the embassy in Warsaw on the 10th. We are still waiting to get back the passport with the permit. Anyone has any ideas or thoughts as to why its taking so long?

Thanks

Yes a month ago. Not unknown but perhaps you can ask using contact details at the bottom of 'Applying for visa' page.

Hello Joppa,

Thanks for your reply. We mailed them many times. Once they replied that they are trying to have it done by that week, but nothing. All investigation has been done , they confirmed that we have the permit so we cannot understand why it would take so long just to put a stamp and send the passport back?

Administrative issue I'd imagine. These things happen. Keep asking and hope they get their act together and send your passport back with permit.
