Hi,

Does anyone knows if the following is allowed?
1. Can my wife (EU citizen) and my daughter (EEA family permit holder) enter the UK from Canada and leave, after two days, on vacation for two weeks? And,
2. Can I (EEA family permit holder) enter the UK to settle, while they are still on vacation?
Or is it the case that my wife has to be in the UK, exercising the treaty, while I land in the UK?

We are trying to time our arrival to the UK next month between my work schedule, vacation, and the time it takes the container to arrive from Canada.

Thanks.

#1 is fine.
#2 You are meant to be joining your EEA spouse who is already in UK. While it can be argued that she is UK resident and just happens to be away on holiday, immigration officer will want to see convincing evidence of this, which isn't so straightforward, or may not be happy with your explanation. To avoid any hassle at the border, you should really be arriving together.
