Hi All,

I would like some help in the application for an EEA Family permit of my spouse.

I am a Spaniard and got married in Jan 2015. I lived with my husband for 3 months in Dubai before i got a job offer in UK and decided to travel. I started work in April and have now travelled back to my husband (currently in Pakistan). I have taken a leave from my work.

Please advise if my husband should apply and say I am still in UK rather then Pakistan. Would that make any difference on the verification part? Would they find out that I am currently not in the UK?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You can do either but probably best to regard your stay in Pakistan as temporary and you are actually living and working in UK. Once permit is issued, you must arrive together or you go to UK ahead of your husband.
