Hello everyone!

Just wishing someone could give some advice. Here is the situation:

My gf is a polish citizen that recently arrived to uk, on november 2015.
before she was living 2 years with me in mexico, and she got pregnant on august 2015.

I joined her on december 2015, with a visitor visa. (leave to remain).
I want to stay with her to work and be able to be with her and my boy. but during this time we went to a lawyer, she proposed to do EEA EFM, but then she said is not possible since my gf is claiming benefits. .

So, is it possible for me to extend my stay? so i can meet my boy and no overstay?
or. can i go outside uk and come back with a family permit (join eea partner)? because on june my visitor 6 months will expire but baby will be too little to travel and everything.

Please any advice will help. thanks a lot

No you can't extend your visit and you can't go to another country and then re-enter.

You can visit for 6 months total in 12 months - that's it.
