Slingbox (around £95) will work, if you have a TV with a set-top box (Freeview, satellite, cable etc) and broadband in UK. If you buy a more expensive Slingbox Pro (around £150), it comes with its own Freeview tuner. It sends TV signal by streaming down broadband connection to a single PC anywhere in the world, i.e. yours (software restricts reception by one PC, for copyright reasons). Reception depends on reliable fast broadband connection where you live and its bandwidth. Picture quality is usually acceptable. You get a virtual remote on your PC to control your slingbox and STB located in UK, to choose which programme to watch.
Alternative is to use iPlayer through a proxy server to fool the BBC security system into thinking you are located in UK. Free servers advertised online usually don't work, but there are some paid-for proxy servers that do.
