Does anyone have any idea when (or indeed if) the DV lottery will ever again be open to UK nationals (excluding NI, which I know is eligible) ? 2012 ? 2020 ?

When the number of UK citizens becoming US permanent residents drops below 50,000 over the previous 5 years., i.e. probably never!

I doubt the whole diversity visa program will last past the next immigration bill, though.
