Hello Everyone!

What are the Do-It-Yourself electronics stores in Paris? Perhaps something of the equivelant of Radio Shack in the United States. Or even good mom & pop electronics stores. In particular I'm looking for IC components, resistors, capacitors, wires, prototyping tools, etc. Thanks as always!

Might be bad form to answer my own post, but in case anyone else is curious I've already found 2:

Selectronic A Paris
11 Place de la Nation

Cyclades Electronique
11 Boulevard Diderot

Any others you recommend?

The small components shops tend to come and go, but most of them are clustered in the area immediately surrounding the big "electronics fair" shop called Surcouf (that's the original Surcouf on the avenue Daumesnil in the 12th.

The gung ho electronics buffs tend to make use of Conrad, which is a Europe wide catalog shop - where you either order by mail or by phone. They don't do online orders (as far as I know), but their catalog is an electronic junkie's delight. Conrad France is located in Lille - google for their website and you can request a catalog by phone or mail.
Cheers,
Bev
