Only 175 and 176 family sponsored OR those 176 SS cases whose occupation gets removed from the SS nomination list (I think...)

For 175 and 176 (family sponsored). The one which is applicable for 176 (state sponsored) is called SOL Schedule 4.

Which shouldn't be of much concern anyway, because the SOL retains all the occupations of the existing Schedule 3 except 4, and adds a further 9.

For 176 (state-sponsored) the more relevant list is the individual state's SMP list (and Schedule 4).

According to this particular document that you attached,

The updated SOL will apply to all new independent or unsponsored skilled migration applications lodged on or after 1 July 2011
