for your mother you have to prove she is dependent on you, if you manage that, you can take her with you. what does your agent say about her?

if you add her now to your applciation, it would be easier, once you get the visa, it is difficult to get them over, either you have to wait for 8 yrs to get her over on PR or you have to pay a huge amount for her contributory parent visa.

i think you shoudl tell your agent now, so that you can start collecting proofs. that is what takes time and i am sure you would not want your application to be delayed

you either have her in your application now (if she is dependent you can still add her) or you apply later and wait for years or go the contributory route..
