Hi All,

new to the community and hoping somebody may be able to help me out with a question.....

Has anybody experienced a significant delay in receiving their decision and passport back once the decision has been made?

I'm particularly interested in Russian applications but if anybody can share an insight from any jurisdiction it would be greatly appreciated.

Briefly, I applied spouse settlement visa priority for my wife in April, St Petersburg, Russia - I've already added my timeline on the thread. After 58 working days (15th July) we received an email from Sheffield Visa section saying "Decided". Online tracker also says "Decided"

Today is 15 working days since decided and my wife has still not been contacted to collect her passport and decision from VAC in St Petersburg. This is supposed to be done within 10 working days. Have called the UKV&I enquiry line and escalated the matter but they tell me it may take up to 15 additional working days to respond. Frankly I find that outrageous.

Does anybody have any suggestions on what else we may be able to do?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
