Hi,

I had applied for an extension of my spouse visa after 2.5 yrs. applied for FLR-m.

Received my passport & letter today. Letter says BRP will be sent separately.

on the letter it states " you have been granted a period of 30 months limited leave to remain under paragraph D-LTRP1.1 of Appendix FM as we are satisfied that you meet requirements of para R-LTRP 1.1 (a) (b) (c). You may be eligible to apply for settlement after completing at least 5 years under this route"

My question is

1. Have they granted me under the visa under the right category? I.e. Under FLR-m that I applied?

2. I thought we would have to complete only another 2.5 years before we were eligible for ILR not 5 years!

Could someone pls clarify....
