Hi forum

I am awaiting my EA result in coming June end and sitting for ILETS in June starting.

If I manage to get both these task done on time then I will be able to apply for 175 or 176 visa

Now my problem is that as I m currently unemployed ,Is this makes any negative impression at the time of lodgment of my visa??

I am unemployed since FEB 12 but as per DIAC rule one should not be unemployed for more than 12 months but i think rules are different from real process.

Does anyone has faced same problem like me ?? Any views ??

Being unemployed at the moment will not have any impact on who your visa is processed.
As long as yo have fulfilled the required work criteria; you are good to go...

Being unemployed at the moment will not have any impact on who your visa is processed.
As long as yo have fulfilled the required work criteria; you are good to go...

There's not much you can do right now...
Are you looking for SS ? If yes, then you can start preparing yourself for it...
Maybe collecting all the required docs (birth certi,marriage etc) is a good way of getting yourself ready...
If you are gonna apply online then get all the docs scanned...

Shoot back any ques..Will be more then glad to answer them...

Profession : Electrical Engineer...

Time line :

1) IELTS score received in Sep’11
2) Docs sent to EA: 10th Oct’11 (I wasted 30 precious days between step 1 and 2)
3) EA’s CID #:19th Oct’11
4) Sent the optional Skills assessment request on 6th Nov’11
6) EA +ve assessment: 21st Nov’11
7) Vic SS denied: 18th Nov’11 (Vic did not even wait for my skills assessment.They have a look at your resume first and match your work experience with Vic’s CURRENT labor shortage. If they think that your work experience doesn’t fit then your application will be rejected even without looking at other documents)
8) SA SS applied: 1st Dec’11
9) Complete set of docs received by SA: 13th Dec’11
10) PCC(FBI):Received on 3rd Jan’12
11) SA SS approved on 16th Jan 2012
12) Applied for 176 (online) : 22nd Jan 2012
13) CO allocated on 30th Jan 2012
14) PCC & Medical requested on 30th Jan 2012
15) Medical Reports submitted on 13th Feb’02.
16) PCC submitted on 10th March 2012
17) Visa Granted on 13th March 2012
