Been here checking out this place, to purchase a property. It appears to be almost exclusively Spanish. I hear the very occasional French accent, but not heard a single English speaking person. Restaurant menus are in Spanish and no other languages.
I like a bit more cultural diversity than Cullera has to offer.
The whole area near the small hill on the point with lots of towers and a few private houses is almost deserted. Looks like come September, the more touristy part of the town turns into a near ghost town. Was in the town centre tonight and there are some restaurants open.
Notwithstanding, ate in the hotel last night as it was rather awful outside.
Overall conclusion is that Cullera is too quiet off season, so very unlikely to buy a property here.
