Emma I don't know what the law is in Australia but I can tell you that my son of 26 went to Australia last year to do a yacht masters ticket, this all had to be paid for in advance.
After 3 months he wanted to find a part time job to help out with his spending money but he couldn't get a work permit.
As I said I don't know the law just telling you what happend to my son.
okay, me and my partner was looking into moving out there and was looking at subclass 176 visa but as my partner is 45 and has no qulifications only work experience i dont think it will apply to us
That only does the most common visas - have you spoken to an agent to see what they say? They will usually say whether or not they think you stand a chance.
