hello all,

been living here in france but can't seem to find work. I have been on RSA for way too long and as an american capitalist it's making guilty taking gov't handouts.

I may go into a "formation" @ the AFPA. After that, I plan to move back to the US.

Would the French gov't be mad about me doing this?

Is it possible to work in the US but pay "cotisations" to the French gov't?

I simply want to contribute to the gov't that helped out during a time of personal crisis.

But at the same time I don't like France and don't want 2 stay here in the long run.

Basically, no. I suppose the government wouldn't turn down any flat out donations of cash you wished to make. I know the IRS will take donated amounts over and above taxes due them. I assume the fisc would be the agency to accept donations from abroad or elsewhere.
Cheers,
Bev
