I’m considering immigrating to Australia with my family. I have one some research into the idée but something I can’t find on the net. Example what is considered a good salary? How much do I need to sub stain a moderate comfortable life style supporting two adults and one daughter?

This answer depends on where you intend to live, whether you have school kids (public/private school), how many cars you intend to run (1 or 2), so this answer also varies by which city you live in.

i.e. Adelaide is cheaper to live in than Sydney. So 50,000 might be fine in Adelaide and you'd struggle in Sydney on that.

I suggest you read the Sticky posts at the top, they will have links to various websites where you can get costs (i.e. rental costs) and then you will be able to get a better idea.

I were looking at diffrent places for the cost surrounding day to day expences, sofar it hard to caculate it due to the fact that the south african rand means so little, (large salary, little falue).

Solong i have the basic idee now, I have to see were I can get a job first and what salary they offering.

I think before getting to Oz, one needs to have a good score in IELTS, its better advise to improve your skills so u would face no problem.
