My DOB is Apr 15th 1973. So I will complete 39 years on 15th April this year. If I apply in May this year, will I get 25 points or will it be 15 points. In May my age will be 39 years and 1 month. This is the table on the immi.gov.au website -


Points Age
25 18 – 24
30 25 – 32
25 33 – 39
15 40 – 44
0 45 – 49

I am trying to get in my app before 15th April but just want to see if I can still apply if for some reason I am not able to apply before that date.

What is the confusion? If you apply on or after your 40th birthday you get 15 points!

If you apply before your 40th birthday you get 25!!!

39 years 1 month means you crossed 39 and stepped to 40. so you will get 15 points.

You are talking rubbish. Since when does 39.1 equal 40?

He would only get 15 points if he applied after his birthday the following year.
