Hi,

I am applying for FLRM. I have got a letter from my employer stating that I have made £20,293 from May 2014 to May 2015. Where it asks on the form for Current annual salary, can I enter this amount. My salary is £16,000 but by completing overtime I have made this amount. Please advise.

Thank You

As it should be no older than 28 days for online application does the same apply to postal applications? How many months of bank statements do I need?

If it's A then you add your past 6 months pay slips and multiply by 12.

If you are applying by post than it should be no more than 28 days old at the time that you post it.

Hi,

I am a contractor and I have a hourly rate of around £8. My pay for the last 6 months as I get paid on weekly basis are below:

10/07/15 249.07
03/07/15 283.5
26/06/15 170.1
19/06/15 319.95
12/06/15 283.5
05/06/15 453.6
29/05/15 359.01
22/05/15 348.3
15/05/15 334.02
08/05/15 373.24
01/05/15 386.78
24/04/15 380.7
17/04/15 405
10/04/15 454.61
03/04/15 384.63
27/03/15 367.17
20/03/15 703.82
13/03/15 322.39
06/03/15 371.98
27/02/15 367.17
20/02/15 343.89
13/02/15 367.17
06/02/15 394.61
30/01/15 367.54
23/01/15 274.05
16/01/15 388.4

Total for last 6 months. 9454.2

Or is this only for my last 6 payslips or the last 6 months?

The only issue would be that my lowest payslip is only £170.1 . I am a contractor. I have been in the job for around 18 months.

What figure should I put down?

You take an average over the last 6 months, so you add all your payslips, divide by 6 and multiply by 12 to get your annual amount.

So from them the figures that I have provided above:

9454.2 last six months added

When divided by 6 = 1575.70

When multiplied by 12 = 18908.4

Is this correct?

Do all letters (Letter of Employment) and bank statements need to be with in 30 days? Would I need 6 months worth of statements or 12?

Employment letter and latest bank statement within 28 days (4 weeks) of online application. 6-month worth of statement.

When you say online application, can we actually apply using the website or should I just be filling in FLRM form paper based version.

This is what the letter of employment needs to cover:

(i) the person's employment and gross annual salary;
(ii) the length of their employment;
(iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and
(iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency

If you are applying for FLR (M) your employment letter, most recent pay slip and most recent bank statement must be no more than 28 days old at the time you post your application.
