Hello,
I am trying to decide between moving to either Redhill or Ruislip.
I currently work in central London and the commute from either place to Central London will take about the same time.
However since I work in IT,there is a chance that my next job would be in an IT hotspot like Reading.
Hence I would like to know whether anybody has experience of commuting from Reading to Redhill.
The distance from Reading to Redhill is 44 miles and peak hour journey time is supposed to be 1:15 minutes.
The distance from Reading to Ruislip is 33.5 miles and the peak hour commute time is supposed to be 1:08 minutes.
Is the commuting distance / time significant enough to influence the choice to Ruislip rather than Redhill.
If not for this commuting aspect, my preference is to move to Redhill / Reigate, as it is cheaper than Ruislip.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks,
