Hi all!

Coming closer to moving,(container ships last week of March) its time to try to find out pro#s and con's for different areas.

Looking on properties in Internet Polemi attract us. But is it to high up so its very cold in winter or is it ok?

Unlike places like Tsada and Kathikas which are very exposed and therefore freezing in the winter, Polemi sits in a basin so is protected from the worst of the winter winds.

Veronica is quite right but note that Polemi often has different weather to its surrounds. It seems to get more mist and fog rolling in. It's the village with the most facilities in the area.

There are a number of villages within a few minutes of Polemi that are worth considering too such as Psathi, Agios Demetrianos and Stroumbi.

In general villages "up in the hills" are cooler in winter but are less humid and more pleasant in summer than downtown.
