Clarification – Working for a metro-based company while living in a regional area (491 visa)

Hi everyone,
I hold a Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa – subclass 491, sponsored by South Australia, and I’m seeking some clarification about employment conditions.
From my understanding, Condition 8579 requires me to live, work, and study only in a designated regional area. I currently live in a regional postcode, and I’ve been advised by some migration consultants that I’m allowed to work remotely for a company located in a metro city (e.g., Sydney or Melbourne), as long as:

My residential and physical work location remain within a designated regional area; and
My employment contract or offer letter clearly mentions my regional home address or regional office as my official work location.

Could anyone who’s currently on a 491 visa (or a migration agent here) please confirm if this interpretation is correct?
Has anyone already been working for a metro-based employer while living in a regional area, and if so, what documentation or evidence did you keep for compliance?
Any first-hand experience or official reference from the Department of Home Affairs or state migration offices would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
