Hello house! Please I am in a dilemma and need help.

I have been positively assessed by EA (233914: engineering technologist) from my chemical engineering skill but cannot claim points for over 7 years work experience in QA call centre in telecoms. Please, how do I proceed for claiming points for this? Will my experience in QA in call centre align with that of engineering technologist or do I go through VETASSESS. I seriously need guidance.

You cannot claim points for experience not relevant to your assessed occupation. However, you can get a new assessment for the telecom related work experience. Check the VETASSESS website for further eligibility details.

And based on the points total with each occupation, and whether the occupation code is there on the occupation lists; you can make an informed decision as to which one should you choose in your future application.

Thanks, parth1310. I have checked and the only areas i will fit in is call centre specialist/supervisor but it is no longer on the lists. QA manager is a different from mine. could you advice further? Also, what is the probability of getting a job with no experience but qualification in Australia?

As Parth1310 suggested, you cannot claim points for a qualification or work experience if it/they are not on Skilled Occupation List. I looked at STSOL and MLTSSL for you and couldn't find an occupation that fits your call centre experience. The closest occupation I think is "Customer Service Manager". You might want to talk to a MARA agent to discuss your options.
You can try with 233914 as you are already assessed positive for this occupation.

To explain whatever I said earlier, I'll give you my example.
I have an Aerospace Engineering Degree and 5 years of work experience as a Mechanical Engineer. Both of these professions are on SOL but I can claim points for only one of these two occupations. Either I can claim points for my education or my work experience.
I'll go with Aerospace Engineering if I get a positive assessment from EA but I won't be able to claim points for my "5 years of Mechanical Engineering work experience".
