Hello All,

in order to claim partner points:

does the partner needs to have work experience?

My wife has Master's in Biotechnology and now working as a HR Manager for past 6 months in USA.

She took IELTS and got 6 band minimum in all sections.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

No.

Your partner's occupation should be on the same list as yours and her degree must be assessed by the assessing authority.

the main criteria she has to meet is that her job has to be assessed as,positive and should in the same list as yours I.e. Either MLTSSL Or STSOL

The entire list of the criteria are given in the link below
