On the AN form, last page , page 31 under supporting docs, it asks for evidence of NI contributions covering relevant period, e.g.: payslips & P60

Does this mean for the 10 year period they specified under emplyment history on page 10?

Any help appreciated.

they should have that information via your national insurance number but we submitted over a last 4/5 years pay slips and p60s
