I am a permanent resident, lived in Australia on PR for last 2 years and 2 months, since Apr 2013 till date.

Before that, I have lived in Australia on student visa from Jul 2009 to Mar 2010, for 8 months.

As far as I knew I need to live for 4 years on PR but I came across this
Citizenship Eligibility-Australian Migration & Citizenship Services
which says it needs only two years.

I also have babies born in Australia, does this affect my eligibility.

Can anyone help me to know if I am eligible to apply for citizenship?

that company you linked to does not know what they are talking about. They have mixed up some of the requirements and created their own version of citizenship requirements.

You need to have been resident for the past 4 years with one year as PR. You can only be out of the country for a maximum of 1 year in that 4 years including a max of 90 days in the past year. As your time on a student visa was more than a year prior to you getting PR none of that time counts towards citizenship
