Hello everyone,

Can anyone shed some light, on how good are Australian Schools for children compared to Indian School standards( which r pretty high from very young ages). I have applied for PR not yet invited, but want to know some off ground realities on the education standards in gov sector. And how easy is the adaption to new culture at school levels. What is the age for children to start school, in India it is at age of 3 we start sending them to a pre school

From what I know, Education standards in Australia are better than that of India. It is free until 12th Standard. The concept is similar to that of US, Canada, etc.

I suppose, people who are already in Australia can better answer the other questions.
