Cheap and Best places for 10-day stay in Brisbane

Guys,

I have planned for visa validation trip to Brisbane and would be staying there for 10-days with my wife and 5 year old son.

Please suggest some budget accommodation that would be better - I am not for a luxurious hotel but for sure need a safe, neat place.
