I want to buy a new bag, from NYC, and have them deliver it to the UK.

I'm assuming I would be charged some sort of additional fee, or tax, if I were to do this, correct?

Import tax, I guess?

Any ideas on the approximate amount of the fees, please?

The price of the bag is about $350, which is about £220 - depending on the exchange rates.

I have other options, if the fee is insanely high, so I am just attempting to gather some information on what the fees may be!

Many thanks in advance,
Lara

Well, it would have a big Store Company Logo on the box, and the contents would be declared, and the amount I paid, listed as its worth, would be visible, so they would totally know it was a new item.

I cannot find any amounts listed. This is why I decided to ask on here.

Maybe I am just not seeing the amounts on the site?

Yeah, I read that just now... It was all sounding very, 'Catch 22' author Joseph Heller.

There seems to be all these taxes, and they seem to tax you some additional taxes on the amount PLUS the amount of the taxes.

This was sort of... Well... Not cool, let's say:

3.2 Is duty charged on used goods?
Used goods are still liable to the same duty and VAT charges as if they were new. However, this may vary depending on their age and condition.

OK, moving right along to the... Other option!

Many thanks!
