my fiancee and i had a discussion and wondering if its easier for us to get married in singapore, and apply for a spouse visa instead of a fiance visa.

is the application process the same? besides, having to produce a marriage certificate, and paying the nhs surcharge.

The requirements are exactly the same except that from a fiancé visa you show evidence of planning a wedding and for a spouse visa you provide your marriage certificate.
