Change of address & phone numbers

Hi,

I have recently changed my address and my husband has changed his cell number. My agent informed that i have to fill "change of circumstance" form only after a CO is assigned. Mine is a paper based application, how would i know if a CO is being assigned or not ? Moreover, my agent claims that an email would be sent to me when a CO is assigned. Is this true for paper based applications?

How do i go about it ?

Just to share background info. Via online application, an address change is just an email away. Email the CO of the new address - no form required even.

Thanks riversandlakes, i wish even i opted for online applications, i dont even know if a CO is assigned or not to me ?? I doubt if my agent gave the correct info about me receiving email when CO is assigned. :(

How do i send them these details and how do i know if a CO is assigned or not ?
Hey, relax, wait for the CO.. they will email you. as and when they start processing your application, they will contact you when they need anything from you. If you are still not sure, call DIAC and ask, if that makes you feel better :)

Thanks anj, coz there was another person from my consultancy who said that there was already a CO assigned to us, there's some confusion amongst them regarding my application, so i was worried about how would i know whether a CO is assigned or not to me.

So, should i be getting an email if a CO is assigned (mine's a paper based appliction)
they usually email you when they need something form you, else they dont bother writing to you that a co has been allocated. you can call DIAC and ask.

Thanks anj, i'll probably speak to my agent again else will try to call diac. Otherwise, you are always there for us.
