Need a small help here. CO was assigned in december2011.I am awaiting for med and pcc.

I will be moving to a new residence within same city in couple of weeks. But there would be no change in my contact details(Email, Phone numbers and contact address as I have given my work address as my contact details).

Do I need to send form 929 in this case?

Thank you for the info. I would do the same. Best of luck for ur landing plans in AU . BTW how long it took for you after CO allocation? This is to get an idea about my app ....thx

Actually my CO was changed in between;birth of my son- more documents had to be provided and priority processing recategorisation by DIAC implicating in myself forced to improve my IELTS band score,to retain my priority application status .Summing up,after the allocation of CO it took more or less 19 months-don't take my statistics as baseline or standard of comparison,these numbers tend to vary from case to case basis.

Hi,

Do we need to attach some sort of address proof with the form for addres change? Does DIAC conduct any inquiry in this regard?

Your CO will use your nominated email address to contact you. You do not have to update your address and no, DIAC will not turn up on your doorstep to check that you actually live there.

Checks are typically limited to your employment details/ experience and if they have cause to doubt your claims/ documentary evidence, then also your IELTS results and qualifications - effectively, everything that could affect the points that you are claiming and hence your eligibility for a visa.
