change in citizenship process..

Thanks for posting that Anj - I've just sent off for the new version since I doubt we'll be sitting the test by October 19th.

I'd heard that the pass mark was going to be higher but it's good to hear they've taken out the rule re the mandatory questions. Still got 2 years to go before we can apply,who know what will change again before then!

u bet, they have been changing rules for migration and citizenship

A new CSL/MODL is due in October, Jan yet another something will be changed (like last yr CSL was introduced) and June onwards it will be very difficult for people to make it. this is what I have been told by my agent.

Ohh i wasn't aware of new CSL. That again after 23rd Sept's revised priority list. Right now my occupation features on CSL and i have a CO but if its taken off CSL wondering what state my app would be in?
I don't understand why suddenly they are trying to grip things harder? doesn't look like a recession effect to me....

They are not trying to make things harder they are simply trying to ensure that the skilled migrants entering are the ones needed by businesses and the States. It's a small population here (relative to other countries) and recent migrants don't get much (if any) financial support so they have to make sure that the people match the skills required.
