Hello everyone
Looking to move to the L'Isle Adam area and was considering living in a large mobile home or chalet on a caravan site.
Does anyone know of any in this area that would be open all year round.
Cheers

Thanks
Seems to be quite difficult to find somewhere to live, would like to rent for a short time but most leases seem to be minimum 12 months and have to wait till after 3 month trial is done which is fair enough but where to live for 3 months then?
Maybe to buy or hire a caravan is the best option
Or is it better to try and buy a small property?
Cheers

I'm probably being dim but I don't understand what you mean by 'wait till after 3 month trial is done'.

AFAIK, when a lease is for 12 months this is simply because 12 months the minimum tenancy that the landlord is permitted to offer, but usually the contract allows the tenant to give notice and leave at any time. At least that is normally the case with unfurnished lets, the agreement is for 3 years minimum and the landlord can't ask you to leave before the 3 years are up, but the tenant doesn't have to stay for 3 years. Tenants are well protected under French law.

Thanks for the info
Most places I've looked at won't rent to someone while they're on a job trial
Will try and keep researching
Grateful for any more info
Cheers
